Socktober?

I see the emails from dyers, and the patterns being promoted on Ravelry.

It's Socktober!

Am I joining in? I almost never join in anything official, but some years I've knit along on my own, quietly participating in the background. And since I'm trying to play catch up with my all-stockinette sock factory, it makes sense that I would knit along for Socktober.

Well, my July socks are begun:

But not much progress has been made so far.

It's only six days in. I've got time. Right?
