That's Gauge Dye Works Classic Merino Twist in Concrete and Tulips, up first. I'm pretty sure I'm about to go on a bit of a striped stockinette sock bender here - after all, I have all that yarn wound and ready to go! I needed to wind this skein from the other direction - Gauge skeins typically have some undyed 'waste' yarn at each end, and this one had a really short nub at one end, and I like to take advantage of the waste yarn with an Italian tubular cast on, but the nub end wasn't long enough, so I rewound the cake to start from the other side. As I did, I became increasingly charmed with the rainbow progression of stripes alternating with the grey, and here we are.
Yes, this will do just fine, methinks.
